GROUP SHIPPING
Import together. Cut your freight.
Pool your shipment with other importers bringing goods from the U.S. to Japan and split the freight by weight. Built for small-volume commercial importers — import consumption tax stays reclaimable as input tax credit, so the freight saving is pure gain.

※ Freight only — illustrative example; actual savings depend on weight, size, and method. Import consumption tax and any duty are billed per importer; for a tax-registered business the import consumption tax is reclaimable as input tax credit, so your net gain is the lower freight. Use the shipping calculator for your own estimate.
Fair, transparent, by weight.
Only the shared costs are pooled. Anything specific to your own goods stays yours.
Shared — split by weight
The international freight and warehouse handling for the group shipment are divided across everyone in proportion to chargeable weight (the greater of actual or volumetric weight).
Your freight share = total freight × (your chargeable weight ÷ group total weight)
Your own duty & tax
Import consumption tax (10%) and any customs duty apply to your own goods, calculated on your declared value and product type only — never anyone else's. As a tax-registered business you can generally reclaim the import consumption tax as input tax credit, so it is not an added cost. Domestic delivery in Japan is billed to your own address.
Your total = freight share + your duty + your import tax + your domestic delivery
✅Why tax isn't a hurdle here
Group Shipping is built for commercial importers who clear commercially anyway. If you are a consumption-tax-registered business, the import consumption tax you pay at customs is generally reclaimable as input tax credit — so it is not an added cost, and the freight you save is your real gain.
Not in a rush? Save by waiting a little.
GROUP SHIPPING
Join the next weekly departure
Your arrived items wait at our Oregon warehouse until the next departure, then travel with the group at a shared rate. Your final share is confirmed once the shipment's total weight is locked in. The next departure date is shown on your My Page.
REGULAR FORWARDING
Ship on your own, anytime
In a hurry? Send your box on its own with standard forwarding — faster, but you pay the full individual rate. You can choose per shipment which items go by group and which go now.
Lower cost, no compromise on care.

Split the Freight
One consolidated shipment reaches better weight rates and spreads fixed costs across everyone. The total is divided by weight, so you pay only your share.

Inspection & Photos
Every item is inspected on arrival with photos, so you can confirm condition before your box joins the departure.

Smallest Save Most
Shipping a light parcel alone means hitting minimum charges. In a group, small parcels avoid that — often the biggest savings of all.

Packed Separately
Boxes travel together but each importer's goods are kept identified and handled separately — your items and their contents stay private.

Your Own Customs
You remain responsible only for your own goods. Duty and import tax are calculated on your items alone — never mixed with anyone else's.

Japanese Support
The entire process runs in Japanese. No English needed on your end.
Free to join. Pay only your share.
No setup fee, no monthly cost on our Free plan. With Group Shipping you pay your weight share of the shipment plus your own duty and tax — nothing more.

Common questions.
Who is Group Shipping for?
Small-volume commercial importers — resellers, online shops, and small businesses bringing goods from the U.S. to Japan who want lower freight without committing to full-container volumes.
How is the shipping cost divided?
The international freight and warehouse handling for the group shipment are split across everyone in proportion to chargeable weight (the greater of actual or volumetric weight). Your share is always less than shipping the same box on your own.
What about import consumption tax?
A joint shipment clears as a commercial import, so import consumption tax (10%) and any duty apply to your own goods. If you are a consumption-tax-registered business, you can generally reclaim the import consumption tax as input tax credit, so it is not a real cost — your benefit is the lower freight. Group Shipping is built for small-volume commercial importers, not personal shoppers.
Do I pay tax on other people's items?
Never. Customs duty and import consumption tax are calculated only on your own declared value and product type. You are billed for your own goods alone.
When does the shipment leave?
Group Shipping departs on a weekly schedule. Your arrived items wait at our Oregon warehouse until the next departure. The exact next date is shown on your My Page.
What if I need my order quickly?
Choose regular forwarding instead — it ships anytime at the standard individual rate. You decide per shipment which items go with the group and which go now.
When is my final price confirmed?
You'll see an estimate before you join. The exact freight share is locked in once the group shipment's total weight is finalized at departure, then duty and tax are added per your own items.
Are my items mixed with strangers' boxes?
Boxes travel together in one shipment, but each importer's goods are kept identified, inspected, and handled separately. Your contents and declared value stay private to you.
